An Exciting Announcement

‘Kidz R Us are excited to announce that our planning application for the refurbishment works and extension to create a café here at the theatre have been granted consent by Cornwall Council. Whilst the main project is not due to commence until autumn this year, Phase 1 of these works to the roof and font façade of our beloved building have started this week! Part of these works will involve the erection of a scaffold, however, we will still be running rehearsals for our upcoming shows, The wider refurbishment works and new café is made possible thanks to funding from the @StivesTownDeal.

The team are looking forward to unveiling the refurbished façade and new signage in the spring this year ready for our summer season.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you to all our supporters/performers and parents that have visited the theatre and performed in our productions in 2022 – here is to an exciting 2023 and beyond.’

    Testimonials

WOW We thought we were seeing a professional show the quality of this performance was outstanding the costumes were beautiful and the whole theatre experience was magical.  The snow queen was the most beautiful character I have ever seen and boy could she sing.  The Granny had us in stitches all evening our sides ache today, the whole performance was worthy of a professional stage we loved it and will be back next year.  Well done

AUDIENCE MEMBER, SNOW QUEEN (DECEMBER 2018)

I’ve been visiting Kidz for over 20 years, ever since I was a young child – I can’t explain how incredible the performances are every time! I have never been to a bad performance – the talent of every child on stage is evident from the opening note, and it’s fantastic to see the performers grow every year.

We saw the Snow Queen last night, and you could tell the entire audience had a fantastic time, from ages 2 to 92!

A trip to St Ives isn’t complete without going to Kidz R Us.
