STORY
This feel-good musical comedy based on the hit film won many awards in the West End and on Broadway and is full of laughs and toe-tapping music. When singer and disco diva, Deloris, witnesses a murder she finds herself on a mobster’s hit list. The police force her into witness protection at the one place they are sure she won’t be found – a convent.
Disguised as a nun, she battles against the rigid lifestyle and the uptight Mother Superior. But put in charge of the convent choir, she uses her disco moves and singing talent with spectacular results for the church and the community. However, when Deloris’ life is put in danger, the nuns decide to risk their lives to save her. Performed by our over 18s group (with some help from the teenage group), the powerful gospel music and moving story will have you discovering your inner diva as you dance in the aisles and rejoice in the power of friendship!
